Acusis Names Ray Dyer as Chief Executive Officer



PITTSBURGH, PA, September 8, 2008 – Acusis® announces that it has named Ray Dyer as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Dyer has served as a key senior leader with Acusis since the Company’s inception, most recently as vice president of business development, and has played an integral role in the Company’s development.

Mr. Dyer has an exceptional background leading global operational teams across a number of industries. His career has spanned more than 25 years and includes extensive experience in product/services marketing, new business development and international markets development. Prior to joining Acusis, Mr. Dyer held senior executive-level positions with a variety of global medical companies, including Respironics, Sunrise Medical, National Medical Care and Cobe Laboratories (Gambro).

David Iwinski, former CEO, is leaving to pursue an opportunity with a private equity firm in a healthcare-related industry. Mr. Iwinski remains an investor in Acusis and will continue to serve as an active member of its Board of Directors.
